I was hired to help design & shepherd the Demandbase brand towards a complete redesign, to take place from between October 2021 to February 08, 2022. During this time, my small team produced hundreds of assets for the main Demandbase brand as well as a redesign and reskin of the corporate website (the latter in conjunction with an agency partner).
In the end, my contributions were the overall illustration style, the creation of nearly all the illustrations themselves (over 300 separate pieces in total), the company mascot "DeeBee" in all its instantiations as well as rigged 2D and 3D characters. significant crucial art-direction of the company logo (avoiding a costly potential misstep by catching an issue early in development), the creation of the company's custom company font (DB Deca Curves), motion graphics production and art direction of external video/motion creators, the creation and display of the NASDAQ tower advertisement that appeared at 9:55am EST on February 8, the logotypes and launch screen for the company's main application and for its cloud product offering, and dozens of internal assets (zoom backgrounds, email and social graphics, slide decks and more), symbol-driven templates for our own and external teams (including for our agency partner) ...
All this was done between my October 15 2021 start date and February 8th 2022, completed on-time and on-budget, despite being during the Holidays and with a small team, and alongside normal operations. Additionally during the first 3 weeks of employment, I created a custom-forms workflow in Asana to manage the CS team's processes and projects, as well as setting up a new centralized file system and project standardization system so that files were captured and usable by the whole team, based on PostHaste, GDrive, and Adobe's Team Libraries.
Our efforts yielded measurable results, increasing our website viewership and social media coverage by 300% and 400% respectively, and overwhelmingly positive reception from analysts in the B2B marketing space and the general marketing industry.
