A long way to go yet

I've been a huge fan of "superscrapers" since I first saw Frank Wright's designs for the mile-high "Illinois" back in the 90s. I've since drawn impossibly high buildings quite often. Here, two travellers and a mechanical canine companion are resting on the trail, inspired a bit too by the Emerald City scene from "The Wizard of Oz."

In this piece I was experimenting with scale and wanted a "future" feel in an otherwise normal setting with minimal elements, so I've placed one "future" element per plane.
